Full of spice, hate, love, lies, rageโ€ฆnot your average love story. Check the trigger warnings if you have any.

Christa meets her match on a blind date that seems to be going down the gutter. Instead, she finds herself in bed with the a**hole who calls her a b****. I honestly hate all the characters in this book. They are all a**holes and b****s. Seriously horrible people. That being said, I couldnโ€™t stop reading. I needed to know what was going to happen with everyone, which destructive path they would take next.

The plot is driven by sex and the characters develop through their sexual encounters. There was definitely a plot, an extremely dramatic and sexy plot. But I felt myself wanting a little more. I wanted to know more about Christa and Adams, who they were before meeting each other. Not necessarily a whole back story but something more.

What I disliked:

The dialogue fell short for me. I got so annoyed with the characters when they would repeat themselves over and over again or say the opposite of what they had said on the previous page. Nobody knew what they wanted but also knew what they wanted but didnโ€™t know. I kept getting lost with who was talking pretty frequently and had to re-read a few scenes to make sure I knew what was going on.

What I liked:

The banter between Adams and Christa. They might have hated each other on their first date and called each other names. But once they got past the hate and realized there was something more between them, they would still call each other names. There was passion and even love in those names though. I loved it when Christa called Adams her a**hole.
