Reverse harem is not a genre I normally pick up but one Iโve gotten more into this year. They are addicting. But they can also be disappointing when it comes to the plot. New Nebraska Lessons is a refreshing take on the genre. I loved the setting and the world in which the story takes place. Thereโs so much depth to the world that I wish I learned a little bit more about it and how paranormals were discovered and sent to live in a new state.
The mystery of a serial killer loose sets a thrilling pace and gives this RH story more plot than Iโm used to in the genre. Another thing that was different about reading this RH, the heroine. She is a virgin, a sweet human, not your normal rough around the edges woman. Sheโs had a tough life though, taking care of her ailing mother, never settling in a place long enough to make friends. So it only makes sense that she falls hard for the four paranormal men that provide a safe haven of love and devotion.
All the men are dreamy, and I hope thereโs more books in the future because Iโd love to get to know more of their backstory.
